Quick update on my life since my last journal.
Yup, I'm still alive and kicking. As of now, I'm 18 years old and stuff is going pretty okay for me. Switched over to Tumblr (I'll give my personal later) and I've been kinda chillin' over there for the past few years. I have figured out what I want to for a career, and I want to be a chemist. I've developed a huge love for science and pretty much chilled out as far as the whole emotions thing goes.
A few colleges are interested in me, all of them up north. Which is fine by me, but the only problem I see is the weather. Even in central Texas, I'm still cold as crap. I have not gotten my driver's license yet, but that's mostly the city's fault since you're supposed to wait six months after finishing driver's ed to even try for an actual license. I expect to get it soon. A car would also be nice. I have moved out of San Antonio and about an hour north to this little country city and honestly, it's wonderful. I can see the stars at night.
Ever since this whole attention to ace/aro/pan/gay/bi/etc etc etc thing started up, I've been thinking about who I am and I've decided about a month ago that I am nonbinary and I like to go by the name Alex with they/them pronouns. It's a nice nonbinary name, and I've already begun to put that name down on my school papers instead of my birth name.
As for Tumblr, I've been across a lot of fandoms, including [PROTOTYPE], Supernatural, Razia's Shadow, Welcome to Night Vale, Kakos Industries, Newsies, Dragon Age, Assassin's Creed, and Gravity Falls. I've met plenty of wonderful people in these fandoms who have impacted my life, as I hope I have done for them. Some I am still friends with today. One in particular I am besties with and I know I've influenced her to strive for Broadway. I honestly can't wait to see her on stage and I have complete faith that she'll make it far there.
Huh. Y'know, I thought there'd be more to talk about than just this. Is this really all that's happened in just two years? Probably not, but it's just the major stuff I suppose. Anyway, since I'm about done here, I might as well give you my personal blog on Tumblr. I'll see you there!

I'm thinking about uploading some art again. I've improved a lot in the past however long and I've got a way to post art again.
I might not upload anything for a while, but at least I'm thinking about coming back.

I'm sure a few of you have heard of CISPA right? No? Well here's a rundown. Basically it's going to go in and shut down whatever isn't appropriate. Privacy will be a thing of the past and the government will be able to see everything you've done. There will be no privacy anymore. The government could shut down deviantART along with many other websites, and the only thing we can do about it is sign a petition that ends in LESS THAN 9 DAYS and needs 20,000 more votes to stop it.
Please, sign this petition going against it.
